I love the confessions where people whine about sundries being overpriced. Clearly these people can’t sew or draft patterns because it takes a looooong time, especially in miniature. The whiners hate supporting handmade because then they have to pay a fair price for labour and materials.
I definitely second that!
Blushing, not blush, but blushing on dolls mystifies me. It looks itchy or sore… especially around the eyes. I don’t understand what it is supposed to look represent: allergies, a rash?
One of the little things that makes me most happy in life is holding blythe’s takara stock body hand between my thumb and finger. maybe it’s because I never had doll when I was little but I find the tiny hands fascinating to shake with two fingers. It always makes me smile. :D

* the last one is a reproduction of a dress I made for myself in the 90’s, based on a favourite painting by Mondrian, fully aware of the 60’s Yves Saint Laurent dress that I always thought was too short.
